Hakeem Nicks is now a game-time decision as I'm sure all Nicks owners know. I just realized that Nicks is the ONLY player on my entire roster that plays after the early kickoffs. If I wait on him and he's a no-go, I have no replacement. Since there was a Thursday game this week, waivers have already kicked in so I can't even pick up any free agents to cover myself. Please take a look at my roster and let me know: 1. Who starts at WR3 2. Who starts at Flex
Thanks the replies fellas! I've inserted Cribbs at WR3 and Nelson at Flex. I'm a Rams fan and couldn't play both Cribbs and Little if I didn't have to.
At this point, would anyone roll the dice and start Nicks at Flex if you were in my situation(no other players to insert if Nicks is inactive?) Has anyone heard anything either way from "insiders" on this? It would be a shame to sit him against the stout 49er run D as the Giants should be throwing a lot.
Theyre saying there is a good chance Nicks will play today, but with you having nobody else on your roster to replace him with I think that would be too much of a gamble. I'd go with Cribbs and Nelson. Dallas D is banged up pretty bad, especially in the secondary. And Cleveland wants to get Cribbs more involved in running back plays with Hardesty and Hillis being injured. So there's a good chance he could see the ball quite often. Thanks for help in mine!
If you NEED a win - I'd go Cribbs/Little. Just to be safe cause you're pretty sure they'll definitely play. But if you can take a chance or playing a weak team, I'd gamble on Nicks. With both he and Manningham game time, I think he'll try to play. But how it works out is anybody's guess.
Without a replacement with NEAR the potential of Nicks, I think you have to use him. Someone like Little could easily post a goose egg and Nicks in for half his usual reps is better than that, no?
