WHIR: B. Jacobs @ SF or M. Lynch v. BAL

Dear all,

As you can see, I am weak at RB and don't really have a lot of choice. In a competitive 14 team league and there is no one better on the waiver wire.

So should I start:

B. Jacobs @ SF: B. Jacobs ran hard for 70 yards and a TD against suspect NE defense, but SF rush D is a different animal. Thinking maybe 40 yards, but maybe a TD?

or

M. Lynch v. BAL: He ran amok against DAL rush D but going against the BAL D. Same low yardage, but better chance of a TD? Can't decide.

Leave a link. Will help you with yours.

Honestly, I wouldn't start ANY RB against the 49ers. They're downright nasty against the run this year.
They have allowed only 424 yards and NOT A SINGLE TOUCHDOWN all year. That's crazy good.

BAL of course comes right after them, but still, I'm just plain scared of that SF run defense.

I would go Jacobs, for one reason, guaranteed touches. If SEA is behind, Lynch may get fewer than 10 touches. I think Jacobs is a very, very poor play. I expect 50 yards or so, but, still like his chances better than Lynch.

Thanks for the help.

Both are obviously hard decisions. I'd go with the better teams RB and that would be Jacobs. I believe Eli will be able to move the ball enough that Jacobs will get some red zone chances. Seattle will have a tough time doing anything except turn it over and allow points.

Damn...the advice is split.

Giants have a superior offense, so may be able to give some redzone opportunities against SF. But SF have not allowed a TD this year but BAL has allowed 3 TDs in the last 8 games (I read somewhere).

Any more thoughts? WHIR.

That's tough-but I think I'd go with Lynch just to stay away from SF run def.

Thanks for mine - Good Luck!

Very tough decision, but I trust Jacobs more since he is on a better offense and is almost a guarantee to get a TD if they can give him the ball inside the 10 yard line.

thanks for the help with mine.
