Ponder or Cutler???

Okay I posted a question awhile back asking McGahee or Cutler. The spot im trying to fill is a QB2/RB3 slot. Normally I go with two QBs and just start Cutler.

My options for this slot are McGahee, Cutler, or Ponder.

I think its probably best to play a QB in this slot as all TD's are 6 points.

So who do you think? Cutler plays at home against the Lions, and Ponder plays at Green Bay.

Im kind of leaning Ponder here against the weak GB D, and they should be playing from behind. What gives??!!???

Ponder has a better matchup but he hasn't done anything that would make me start him over Cutler. He only completed 40% of his passes the first time he played gb although he had a couple of td's.

haha! I don't like your choices, but do like your reasoning. It's hard to play Cutler against Det, but he's predicted to get more points in yahoo. I think it's a close call - so go with your gut and play Ponder. Good Luck!

I'm liking your lean with Ponder. I like this kid! Coming off a bye week, Harvin is healthy! Peterson is rested! And like you said he will be trying to keep up with Rodgers Arm. Cutler is better than people give him credit for, but the wind will be a factor today and Detroit has the 5th best passing defense vs. well we all know that GB can be suspect.

According to Weather.com, 30-plus MPH wind gusts are expected at Soldier Field for Sunday's Lions-Bears game.

That combined with Detroit's pass rush would make me lean toward Ponder.
