Which Trade to Take?

Postby Dr. Duran Duran » Mon Nov 14, 2011 11:39 pm

Long time no see, folks.

My season is essentially over due to poor record so I am trading away Matt Forte to a contending team for future picks. Here are the two trades I have been offered. Which would you take? Keep in mind in this league you only get to keep a player if he is in his 1st or 2nd year.

He gets my 6th round pick and Forte - I get his 4th and a throwaway player

the other trade is:

He gets my 9th round pick and Forte - I get his 5th and Javhid Best who I will get to keep.

selling him on Forte could win him the league may get you bit more leverage. I like first trade but can you give him your 7th or 8th rd pick and you get the throw away, hopefully a first or second year player and his 4th? Forte accounts for 50% plus of that offense and they are starting to move ball little better.

It's true, I do have some leverage in this situation. If I can get him to make it a 4th for an 8th straight up, you like that better than getting Best and a 5th?

Do you get to keep every player on your roster that is in there first or second year? Or is there a limit on that. I would say that if you are traing Forte to a contender for future draft picks I would let it be known to the league and drive his value up. This may net you a much higher draft pick as well as a player. Good luck.
