My RBs: AP, Turner, Michael Bush, DeMarco Murray MY WRs: AJ Green, Mike Williams (TB), Brandon Lloyd, Antonio Brown, Austin (IR)
I am working on a potential trade: Murray for Andre Johnson. I know that Leinart is the new QB, but Houston still has a fairly easy schedule and should be playing for a 1st round bye. I am currently 6-4 and guaranteed to make the playoffs.
Should I make the trade or try and offer Turner? Thoughts.
I was going to instantly say no dont do it, but you seem to be covered in the rb category. I'd go with it,yuup. Altho i think you should try to manage to grab another player of theirs with the whole Johnson being out for awhile, injury prone, and schuab now done. You;ll be able to keep one of the elite wr for next season.
No way. Explore your options. You can get a much more reliable WR at this point in exchange for Murray. AJ is a big question mark right now. Who knows what his value will truly be once he gets back from injury.
I guess some of it depends on your keeper league rules and how long you can keep a player and any penalties you take for keeping them. Right off the bat I'm saying do it, but AJ may take a hit to his production with Schaub going down. Good luck.
AJ is a proven stud, he is injured, but with the development of the texans, I think AJ is a TOP 3 WR, where as Murray has still a lot to prove a a stud (4 games dont make you a proven stud), rembember J Harrison?, Slaton?, P Hillis?.... you need two consistent years to prove your a stud, so go with Andre Johnson!!
