Traded Foster... Did I get enough value? WHIR

Postby PaulSilas » Thu Nov 17, 2011 9:43 am

So I am sitting at 5-5... 7th seed, 8 make playoffs in a 16 teamer. I am about to play another 5-5 team- the 8th seed but he has a very strong roster. There's also 3 other teams sitting at 5-5 waiting for a playoff spot. As a result, I viewed this week as a must-win situation and felt I couldn't handle Foster and Big Ben on byes... This 16 team league is brutal with replacements.

So I may have been a bit rushed to make this trade, but I desperately need to win this week and at least 1 of the next 2 after that one. If Jahvid Best can ever return it may save my season (expectations have lowered with each week).

I gave:
Arian Foster
Ben Tate
Ogbonnoya (1 Week rental for the bye, I think he's trash so I didn't care to part with him)
F. Davis
Breaston (Would have dropped for Vincent Brown anyway, Cassel hurt)

I got:
S. Jackson
R. Gronkowski
D. Moore

Please let me know, I'll help you out in return. Just want some assurance that I didn't get hosed. But if thats how you feel honesty is appreciated.

QB- M. Moore
RB- Steven Jackson
RB- Maurice Morris
WR- Hakeem Nicks
WR- Denarius Moore
RB/WR/TE- Mike Williams TB
TE- Rob Gronkowski
K- Janikowski
DEF- Jacksonville
Bench: Roethlisberger, Ingram, J.Best, Little, V.Brown (SD), V.Young

Scoring: .5 reception, .1 completion, 10 rush/rec yards per pt, 25 passing yd per pt, 4 pass TD, 6 rush/rec TD
