Tebow or Rivers (WHIR)

Almost every week since Tebow's gotten the gig, I've been stuck in this situation. Rivers has obviously been disappointingly inconsistent thus far. Tebow hasn't exactly been a superstar, but I can't afford to have a mediocre game from my QB as this is a make or break matchup this week. The Jets got torched by the Pats last week, but have been pretty stout against the pass this season. The Bears aren't exactly a cake matchup either though.

With my season on the line, who do you start? Rivers or Tebow?

While we're at it, would you start Eric Decker tonight over Nate Washington or Jeremy Maclin?

Dude, ya gotta go with Rivers. Tebow vs the Jets and Decker facing Revis doesnt look so promising.

I think tonight is going to be a slaughter, Tebow's lack of passing makes his game very transparent against a great D. Rivers is a great QB although his numbers may not show it this year.

Rivers, primarily based on Tebow's tough matchup. He has certainly shown that he can put up good fantasy numbers without passing, but I think that might be harder against this defense.

why is it that everybody thinks the jets defense is unbeatable. i get that revis is a shutdown corner and their pass defense in general has been pretty good this season, but here's how they've done against the rush thus far (fantasy points given up).

DAL - 11
JAX - 11
OAK - 43
BAL - 20
NE - 30 (yes, that's 30 points from the law firm and company)
MIA-13
SD - 16
BUF - 9
NE - 3

that is not even close to a stout run defense. how are we all so sure that tebow won't be able to run all over them?

Gotta go with Rivers. Tebow will get owned tonight by the Jets. He will have 0 completions in the first half again and probably only throw the ball 10-15 times at max. Decker is there best receiver and Revis will take him out of the game. Tebow will just be running the whole time.

Rivers isn't the best QB but as of lately he's been better and won't struggle as much as Tebow will.

When it's a tossup such as this you gotta look at matchups. Tebow's is far less than ideal. I'd have to go with Sir Philip.
