Philip Rivers Or Carson Palmer [WHIR]

Rivers going against the Chicago Bears.. who just had a monster defensive day last week against the Lions

or

Caron Palmer going against the Minnesota Vikings. He's finally getting into the offense. and I trust him a bit more than Rivers, who has turned it over so many times lately.

I'd have to go with Rivers. I hate to say it but maybe this could be his game.

I will go with Palmer, Raiders have no problem at Minnesota, but Rivers will get trouble in Soldier Field Stadium.

This is a tough one! Rivers facing lots of pressure to turn around Chargers losing skid. They can't lose anymore ground in that crappy division. I think Rivers finds a way to get it done. He thrives on adversity. Chicago also may come out a little flat, even over-confident after destroying a good Detroit team last week.

Help?

I would go Palmer. Minnesota is horrendous against the pass and they have guys they signed off the street in their secondary.

Little help:

It is sad indeed. Rivers was usually a 6th ranked QB and mostly a must start option..now he gets questions like this! That said, if you are in a league that penalizes turnovers, you have to start C. Palmer. Sure Palmer also threw 3 picks two weeks ago but I chalk it up to being rusty while Rivers is really turnover prone entire season.

Sad, but I would have to start Palmer, even if OAK will run more than SD.

Please help with mine. viewtopic.php?t=508781

Thanks for the help on mine.

I know River has had a rough year but I don't think his abilities are in question. The real concern is how well he will be protected and whether his receivers can get open. The bears will certainly be a rough match but I think that the Chargers will pull together after reviewing their mistakes from last week. I'd go with Rivers. Palmer may have a great game also but I think Rivers has the potential to put a lot more points on the board.

Not to hijack, but I have the same dilemma with one wrinkle...I have D. Moore at flex...would this tilt the balance in favor of Palmer?

You can't quite give up on RIvers yet. He has the potential to be throwing 50+ passes like Stafford last week even if they get crushed and weather and wind should not be an issue. I like Rivers for 350+ yards and 3 TDs this week, Palmer for 250+ yards and 2 TDs.

Little Help???
