Alright, so knowing that the number one rule of fantasy football is never sit a stud, the topic of this post is: should I sit a stud. Here's my team:
QB: Carson Palmer
RB: Maurice Jones-Drew
RB: Mike Tolbert
WR: Jordy Nelson
WR: Laurent Robinson
WR: Damian Williams
TE: Rob Gronkowski
K: David Akers
Def: Cowboys
BENCH:
QB: Big-Ben
RB: Beanie Wells
WR: Vincent Brown
WR: Steve Smith
WR: Mike Wallace
TE: Fred Davis
The stud in question is Steve Smith, and my reasoning is that I find the fantasy experts concerned the Lions might shut down the Panthers like Tennessee did last week. I cannot afford another loss, and I need to win big too. Should I take a chance on Damian Williams? He's going up against like the 27th ranked pass defense this week and has been outperforming Nate Washington the last two weeks. Vincent Brown is in a similar situation, going against the 23rd ranked pass-D I think. Any advice concerning this or any other part of my team would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
