Top NFL QBs and Fantasy Playoffs...

Postby richord06 » Sun Nov 20, 2011 11:08 am

More of a general question/advice here...

As with most leagues, fantasy football ends on week 16. For those with top QBs such as Rogers, Brady, Brees, Big Ben, Romo, Newton, E. Manning, etc, is there any concern for them being benched before the NFL playoffs, thus them not playing in the fantasy playoffs?

I think my main concern lies with Brady/Patriots as I have him as my QB and he looks to have nice match ups going forward.

What do you guys think?

Don't forget, just because they are a fantasy dynamo doesn't mean they'll see any pine approaching the playoffs. if you're still in the hunt for a spot you wouldn't bench your starting QB would ya?

The AFC first round bye's will most likely be decided in wee 16 and week 17. It's a complete toss-up, so I really doubt that any QB in the AFC will sit. The same will probably happen in the NFC if the 9ers stay on the Packers arse all the way up until week 16.
A win next week and all is forgotten.

This years schedule has more division games the last three weeks than ever. All teams have at least two and some have three.

This could really be an issue for Rodgers owners. They could have things wrapped up buy week 16. Assuming a Niner loss to the Stillers in week 15, and you could have Rodgers playing only a bit over a half vs the Bears in whatever garbage weather there is in Green Bay that day.
