The NFL is soooooooooooooo much better than the NBA .

It's not even close .
The NFL gives us Peyton vs Mcnair with first place on the line .

The NBA keeps trying to shove Melo and Bron down our throats .

The Nfl is a man's game , while the NBA keeps bringing in teenagers . It's sad . The NBA used to have a good product .

But now , I'd rather watch 1000 games between the Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions than watch 1 game between the Chicago Bulls and Detroit Pistons .

David Stern must be so jealous of Tagliabue

interesting points, but it's apples and oranges, you take each for what they are. not to mention the freedom to change chanels or not not to watch at all.
i wish football season lasted as long as basketball ;-D

I think the greatest thing about football is the infrequency of games. Baseball has 162 games, Basketball has 82, and Football just 16. I assume Hockey is around the same as BBall.

During their respective seasons, I can turn on TBS/TNT or ESPN and easily find a game of baseball or basketball. There's so much of it that it's sickening. However, I eagerly await Sunday every week. Anticipation.

Yeah , just having 16 games is big . Every game means so much .
Whereas in basketball and baseball you can go on a six game losing streak and it doesn't really matter .

Then you have the anticipation . Every Thursday I think "well , atleast it's not Wenesday anymore ". Same goes for Friday and Saturday .

Long live football

anyone remember the days of Jordan vs Magic or Jordan vs Bird, or Isiah vs whoever...man those were the good day, scores would be like 123-122..great game, the players could actually shoot the ball and make over 50% of the time, these guys today...i'm not sure whats happened, i saw iverson shot 3 of 25 the other night....and he's the best they got...I think the real problem is the Class in the league, The NBA has no Class...everyones a Thug or a wanna be thug...and its cool to be a thug...we need back our Jordans, Dr Js, Magics, Worthys, Isiahs, Malones (oh yea that geezer still plays ,lol) or Barkleys..he wasnt a thug...just a tough man, completley diffrent, or Larry Birds, remember when Isiah said Larry was overhyped because he was WHITE...man, those were the good ol days.....

Basketball's a good sport, but you just can't watch it. It gets boring after a while. Comebacks are better in the NFL and the infrequency of games is also a plus.

The NFL is so much better than the NBA that they don't even deserved to be compared.
