I just have to vent about this SOMEWHERE, so thankyou FF Cafe for a venting section.
I still like Rotoworld, they have been good to me the past couple of years and yes, I do my own research and make my own decisions, but almost every time I have used Rotoworld's analysis for a "tie breaker" or consideration, they have been horrible wrong this year. HORRIBLY wrong:
Predraft:
VJax could be the #1 fantast WR
Felix Jones will be a stud
Lance Moore will have a big year
L FItz will be in the hunt for most TDs by a WR
Mario Manningham will have a big year (to be fair, a lot of people thought so)
Fred Jackson is not worth drafting
Marshawn Lynch is not worth drafting
Ryan Mathews will be a bust (full page article devoted to this)
Tim Hightower has "solidified" himself as the Redskins RB
During season:
Three/four weeks ago: Between V Cruz and Manningham, take Manningham
Demarco Murray will not be good
Kevin Smith is not worth picking up
These are just the ones that come to mind, but it feels like there have been more.
I do like Rotoworld, I realize no one can predict the future and most of these misses have had a huge impact on my team this year so maybe I haven't noticed that this is not different than any other year.
Still.
It feels to me like this has just not been their year.
Anyone else?
