Help with WR for this week!

Postby gmcman22 » Tue Nov 22, 2011 5:16 pm

Need to pick 4 of these 6: Welker, Wallace, Nelson, Boldin, Robinson, Gaffney. I'm going to assume that everyone will say to start Welker/Wallace, so we can leave them out of the discussion.

So which two out of Nelson, Boldin, Robinson, Gaffney would you go with this week?

Nelson vs. Detroit
Robinson vs. Miami
Boldin vs. SF
Gaffney vs. SEA.

This is a 14 team PPR league. Am starting Rogers @ QB, and Fred Jackson @ RB if healthy. Have to fill one WR slot, and the rest are flex, but I'm slim pickings at RB. Benson, Helu, D. Williams, Hillis on the pine.

Start Boldin and Nelson. Boldin has been cold, but he was getting almost ten targets a game. Flacco always looks for him. Nelson just seems to be on fire. I'd even consider benching Wallace to slide Robinson in. Might sound crazy, but it could result in a brilliant fantasy move.

I'd go with Jordy Nelson and Robinson. Nelson is almost a must-start - he's getting targeted by Aaron Rodgers! Robinson is working well with Romo, and is a solid WR3...maybe a WR2 right now. Boldin may be targeted a lot, but what's he doing with them? Not as much as those two, for sure. Targets have a place, but there are a lot of guys getting a lot of targets, and not doing anything worthy of starting regularly (Little/MWilliams, etc).

Don't get me wrong...I'm not down on Boldin. I just don't think he has a place in your lineup over the other two. Plus, the other two have better matchups, IMHO.

Hope this helps...help with mine?

I would roll with Nelson and Boldin, anticipating a big week for them.

Help with mine.
