QB - Hass or WW - WHIR 100%

Postby Pl3onner » Wed Nov 23, 2011 9:36 am

So I'm in a 2 qb league, standard scoring, non-ppr. My QB's are - Vick, Tebow, Hasslebeck and Skelton (ready to drop). With 10 teams and most people having a back up, my options are limited. Hass sucked a nut last week, although I was skeptical that Tebow could produce pretty much as a running back every week, it's working out well. Let's just assume Vick will be out. My starters should be Tebow and... Hasselbeck? Here are ALL my options for starters including the waver

Hasselbeck vs TB
Skelton @ StL
Matt Leinart @ JAC
Young @ NE
Moore @ Dallas
Palko vs Pit
Painter vs Car
Gabbert vs Hou
Hanie @ Oak
Orton (available, but I'm assuming not starting this week)

Thanks in advanced, I need a win this week so I'm willing to go with a gutsy call against the #1 team in the league. WHIR as always.

I would drop Skelton and pick up Young for sure. He has nice upside and will give you a insurance for Vick. So I would start Young and Tebow. good luck!

Thanks for your help with my question ;-D

If Vick is definitely out, then I'd go with Young as your #2. The only other QB that you listed that jumps out at me as a possible flier is (brace yourself)... Matt Leinart. He's been on the team for two years and knows the offense, plus it's a decent matchup.
Hope this helps!

I'm going to have to go with Young as well. Even though Leinart is getting Andre back this week, the team has really turned into a run first team now.

Yeah I'm going to have to agree with the Young call. Palko was able to put up some decent yardage numbers against NE last week, and I would hope young wont throw 3 INTs again and should get at least a touchdown...maybe one on the ground too. I think it has the most upside.

Young (assuming Vick is out) and Lienart. If Orten is picked up and starts (doubtful) then I would go with him - he should still know this offense as he did play there under Martz.

Orton never played under Martz in Chicago. Martz came in 2010. Orton was already gone by then.

You're the second person to say this, do you think that I should start Leinart over Tebow? Or were you just confused by my question?
