Shots fired on VTech's campus

BLACKSBURG, Va. -- A police officer was shot at Virginia Tech on Thursday morning and campus officials warned everyone to seek shelter while an armed suspect was at large.

Thoughts and prayers go out to law enforcement and students/staff in the area. Hope all remain safe and the LEOs can successfully apprehend this man.

Update: confirmed that the police officer and civilian who were shot have both died. RIP and condolences to the families.

I feel for that University...I don't know how you go through that once, much less twice in such a short period of time. The seniors and the grad students must be mortified, not to mention the faculty and administration.
