Week 15 Pivotal Questions!

Postby YOgun27 » Mon Dec 12, 2011 1:08 pm

I'm already through to the semis of the playoffs in a 1-pt. PPR league. Now I have some tough questions:

1) Flex position: Santana Moss vs. Giants or Felix Jones vs. Bucs?

2) Big Ben vs. 49ers or Tebow vs. Pats?

I would say Tebow is a sure must-start over Roe going against SF's defense. I don't care if they just got beat by ARI or are already locked into the playoffs. That defense has a habit of locking up opposing players' fantasy days and making you regret starting them against their D.

As for the Moss vs. Jones question. I am all but locking in Jones this week against a terrible TB defense, even if it is away and even if Dallas has passed more in recent history and is sputtering going into the playoffs. (Jerry) Jones has loved him some Felix, and we all know (Jerry) Jones gets what (Jerry) Jones wants... With the likelihood of Dallas sticking to the run game as long as they're ahead - which the should be - I would say go with Felix Jones in the flex. I have him as my No. 2 (partially because my other RBs were Fred Jackson/C.J. Spiller and Willis McGahee).

Whatever you decide, good luck!

Absolutely Felix Jones.

Also I am ambivalent on the Tebow vs. Big Ben question, but I would go with Roethlisberger. Roethlisberger plays tight defenses all the time and manages to get points. Tebow is coming up big late and garnering a lot of points at the same time, but at some point it catches up. Not saying it will be this week, but who knows.

Berger, the run game will be shut down and he will have to throw, if he can pass on the Ravens and Bengals he can pass on the Niners. Felix by a mile.
