Need help with playoff seedings!

We changed our playoff rule, and now we need independent arbitration in interpreting it....Here goes:

The New Playoff Rule:
There will be 3 Division winners. They will recieve the the # 1,2, and 3 seeds for the playoffs. The 3 remaining wild card teams will be determined by the 3 next teams with the best records. Tie breakers for those spots will be determined byhead to head results. Still tied will go to total points scored. If there is still a tie it will be determined by a virtual coin toss held at the PCFL League office. Rock, Paper Scissors can be a alternate option if all members are able to assemble in reasonable time. Best of 3. Rock defeats scissors, Paper defeats rock. Scissors defeats paper.

4 teams for final 3 wildcard spots (one team left out)

Team A - (7-7) undefeated against B,C, & D Season Points 1649
Team B - (7-7) beat C, lost to D Season Points 1919
Team C - (7-7) lost to B, Beat D Season Points 1657
Team D - (7-7) Beat B, Lost to C Season Points 1740

Please provide your explanation for each slot...after a few answers, i'll explain my interpretation

Team A should be in first (4th seed), since they went undefeated.
Since the last 3 teams all went 1-1 against each other, Team B should be the 5th seed.
I would then start the tiebreakers over and team C would get the last playoff sopt since they beat Team D.

This is very clear, not sure why you are asking. A beat the other three, they are Number One. The other three are tied with 1-2 records so it goes to Total Points among B, C and D. Should be no problem.

A little late, but as others have said Team A is the obvious #4 seed. After that, the remaining 3 teams all have the same record, and the same record against each other (1-1). Per your league rules, Points For would break the tie, giving the #5 seed to team B, the #6 seed to team D, and the #7 seed to team C, or in other words, Team C is the odd one out and doesn't make the playoffs.

It's because of this problem that I think Points For is a better all around tiebreaker than head-to-head record anyway.
