If Smith gets the nod, I think you have to go with him. Gore gets a really tough defense and is splitting carries with Hunter now. Smith when he's been in has been the workhorse. If he's named the starter, I'd go with him.

While Smith is better with PPR, I'd still go with him. I think the matchup is better and with the Lions being up, they will be running the ball more. I think the 49ers will be behind and forced to throw...

Sorry for being late but yes go with Smith...San Fran has no reason to get Gore injured, I think we all know the Saints are gonna beat them out for the 2 seed. Smith has the potential to put up huge numbers if he goes the whole game without getting hurt...I should know because I started him on Thanksgiving and against New Orleans...lol

Smith.. even if he gets through half a game, he will get more points than a dinged up Gore against PITT.

Im going to say Gore just because with Smith coming back from injury, they may limit his carries.
