So I got whacked by Ryan and Roddy on Thursday night. PPR scoring, all TD's = 6. Already used Julio at one WR spot, now need two more. Also need the right RB2. So help a guy out on his quest for a threepeat in a money league?
WR2 / WR3 (pick 2): S Moss @ NYG - only three catches against a bad NE secondary last week, but great matchup A Brown @ SF - not wild about him if Batch is the QB, but love him if Ben does play...just won't know till Monday night S Holmes v PHI - just not getting enough targets, Sanchez horrible lately D Thomas v NE - biggest upside of all of them, but do I trust Tebow to be a passer?
RB2 (pick 1): J Stewart @ HOU - horrible matchup, splits touches, but gets all the passing down work and gets plenty of checkdowns R Grant @ KC - if Starks dnp, then I don't mind this one, but if Starks plays.....not so much
I can win this thing with the right picks even after the big early deficit - he only has one stud left to play. I keep thinking Brown and D Thomas are the biggest upside combo - but if Ben doesn't play Monday night, I'm stuck. Help!!! WHIR, thanks!
Really tough one, but i'd go with S. Moss & D. Thomas. As a Pats fan, NE's pass defense really sucks. At least in yards, so always a good fantasy matchup. I think S. Moss will do better this week, and don't like the other two guys because of Big Ben's injury and because Sanchez sucks.
Go with Ryan Grant for RB!
8-man PPR league
QBs: Brady RBs: Foster, Charles, D. Martin, Murray WRs: J. Nelson, Fitzgerald, Bowe, Nicks, T.Y. Hilton, M. Williams TEs: Graham, Hernandez K: S. Graham DEF: Texans
For your WR2 I'd go with Brown. Ben is officially questionable but he is one of the toughest QBs in the league (and I'm a Ravens fan...) so he'll most likely play on Monday, barring a major setback. Tough call between Thomas and Moss for WR3. Moss is probably the safer play though Thomas has more upside. I'd probably go with Thomas in your case as you're already down big and may want to start taking some chances.
For RB2 I'd say Grant, but only if Starks is out. Otherwise Stewart may be the better option but I wouldn't expect double digit performances out of either one.
