I am curious for stories about teams that had success despite a ridiculous amount of injuries. I know every team has injuries throughout the season.
I am in the championship game in a 12 team H2H standard scoring league, and when I stop to think about it it seems like a miracle considering how my draft went and the injuries my team has had. (Granted the H2H gods shined on me in playoff week 1 when I won with an 85 standard scoring.) My draft went like this (with number of games that player has missed in parens)
Rd. 1: Andre Johnson (missed 8 games so far)
Rd. 2: Vincent Jackson (0 games missed)
Rd. 3: Darren McFadden (missed 7 games so far)
Rd. 4: Felix Jones (missed 5 games/sucked)
Rd. 5: Matt Schaub (missed 4 games/IR)
Rd. 6: Kenny Britt (missed 12 games/IR)
Rd. 7: Beanie Wells (only missed 1 game/healthy)
Rd. 8: Michael Bush
Rd. 9: Tim Hightower (missed 9 games/IR)
Rd. 10: Danny Amendola (missed 13 games/IR)
Rd. 11: Kyle Orton (sucked)
Rd. 12: Jimmy Graham
Rd. 13: Saints D
Rd. 14: Jerome Simpson
Rd. 15: Bernard Berrian
My top 10 draft picks have combined to miss 59 games, and 4/10 are on IR.
My lineup as of right now:
QB: Tebow
RB: Chris Johnson (received with others for trade for B.Wells/others)
RB: Michael Bush
WR: V. Jackson
WR: V. Cruz
WR: J. Gaffney
TE: J. Graham
D/ST: Redskins
K: Dan Bailey
Bench: Roy Helu/D.Heyward-Bey/Alex Smith/T.Gonzalez/A.Johnson*
