I just got home from the game, and I agree with every single comment.
Sanchez had oodles of time in the pocket, and his passes were horrible. About the only pass that looked good was the pass to Plax in the end zone, where Plax got the pushing off penalty. Almost every other pass was high, low or lost in space. For a third year QB, Sanchez's decision making is horrible. There's no way that the Jets should have passed 60 times in a game, especially considering the run game was going well, but even if they had a more balanced attack, I doubt it would have mattered. That run where Bradshaw steam-rolled over Poole just showed you the lack of intensity that the Jets had, and the fire that the Giants did.
The Jets don't deserve to be in the conversation as a team that should have been in the playoffs. They haven't shown much of anything this year. Both Bama and LSU could beat the Jets right now.
