Help at FLEX for finals - WHIR

12 team PPR league - Finals

Need help with my FLEX. I've narrowed it down to Willis McGahee or Demaryius Thomas at Buffalo. All signs point to McGahee having a big week - he looked healthy in practice, took almost all the reps, Denver is primarily a running team, and their opponent is bad against the run - last week they allowed Reggie Bush to run for over 200 yds. However, McGahee does come with an injury risk. He may start hot once again, but not finish. On the other hand, Thomas has been heavily targeted by Tebow lately, he has been the highest scoring WR over the last 3 weeks, and Denver is starting to throw more.

UPDATE: Kahlil Bell is now starting for the Bears at Green Bay. Barber is doubtful for the game and Bell's only backup would then be an undrafted rookie. Bell definitely has some appeal in a PPR. Plus, he goes up against a not-so-good Packers run defense. I added him earlier this week.

Any thoughts?

As always WHIR - just leave a link. Happy Holidays to all!

My roster
QB Ryan
RB1 Rice
RB2 R. Bush
WR1 Fitzgerald
WR2 J. Nelson
WR3 S. Moss
TE T. Gonzalez
RB/WR FLEX ?
K Rackers
DST Texans

Since it's PPR, and Tebow will likely vulture goal line carries from McGahee, I would go with Bell at flex.

I'm leaning towards Bell right now. Am I crazy? He's gotta see touches even if the Bears are down early to the Pack. I know McGahee has a very good matchup, but I'm afraid that hammy may act up in the cold in Buffalo. Plus, he doesn't get many receptions and Tebow vultures TDs at the goal line. And as far as Thomas goes, Denver may lean on the run more this week against a bad Buffalo run defense.

Not that it has any effect on the scoring, but I also like the fact that Bell plays on Sunday night. After Saturday's games, I'll still have 4 guys left (Jordy, Bell, Ryan, Gonzo) to his 2 (Brees, Driver).

So, am I nuts to start Bell at a FLEX in a championship?

Any more thoughts?

Thomas!!!

Tebow is going to have a solid game, look for Thomas to have a big shot at a TD.

I would go with McGahee, as I think he's the safest play to get consistent yards and touches. Thomas has a higher ceiling, but is not necessarily a lock to see the ball. Bell worries me because Chicago's offense is pretty weak, and they might be forced to throw if GB goes up early.

Good luck.

Help me out?
