Keeper Advice, thanks

Postby nemo99 » Fri Dec 30, 2011 12:58 am

Standard ESPN scoring with 3 keepers in a 10 team league. There are no penalties or costs for keepers - we all keep 3. I was going to keep Ray Rice and Cam Newton but can't decide on the third player. Any advice is appreciated, thank you.

Keeper candidates:

Cam Newton - keep
Ray Rice - keep
Frank Gore
Roddy White
Fred Jackson
Jamaal Charles

I was thinking Charles but am concerned about the ACL healing. Gore is a safe bet and has been a keeper for me the past three years. White is great but with Jones coming on and he is older. Jackson is 30 and CJ looked good enough to split carries. Thoughts?

I would not keep Charles or Fred jackson due to their injury's. Gore is on the decline and the 49ers will use Hunter more next year. White does have Jones to compete with but should still be a top 10 WR so I would keep White. good luck! ;-D

Newton, Rice, and White is a very good start to your 2012 roster... it also gives you flexibility with your first few choices to take best available player (non-QB).

Since you already have Rice as a top Back kept, I would go with Roddy White giving you another top 5 talent at the WR position none the less.

Keep Roddy and you will start off with a solid team.
