Five keepers to choose!

Postby Mrjoneson » Sat Feb 04, 2012 5:04 pm

Hi, my team is as follows
Broncos tqb
Steelers tqb
Adrian Peterson
Fred Jackson
Steven Jackson
Demarco Murray
Kevin smith
Calvin Johnson
Torrie smith
Annual boldin
Antonio gates
Fred Davis
Jermaine Gresham
Jason Hanson
And chiefs and cardinals D
I am able to keep five and ap and Murray are on IR and my keepers are ap Murray Steven Jackson Antonio gates and megatron. I don't know if the IR players are automatically kept or dropped because that would open up two more keeper spots for me but like I said idk. I also have a manager who says he would take ap and Steven Jackson for Arian foster. What are you're guys thoughts on that and my decimated running backs futures? It's quite the group with solid potential it's just a matter of who. And I am only able to keep four rb's on my active roster

With only being able to keep 4 RBs on your active roster, it's about quality and not quantity. I would move AP and SJax for Foster with your league settings. Foster + Murray is a great start to your RB corps. I would then keep Fred Jackson as my RB3 and draft the best available RB.

I would keep Murray, AP, SJax, Johnson and FJax. However if you can do what indibuck suggested that would be ideal. good luck! ;-D

Thanks for the input guys! Also I may have a trade in the works to send some ppl another managers way for chris Johnson and maybe Phillip rivers but idk of rivers is even worth a keeper spot considering my running backs. I could prob send him big Fred Davis big Ben and one of the leftover backs (being fred and Murray) has anyone heard anything on Fred and Murray's futures as feature backs for their organizations next year?

Foster had another excellent season in 2011, and should continue to put up big numbers in Houston's offense.

Rice put up more than 2000 total yards and 15 touchdowns in 2011 and is still only 25 years old.

McCoy scored 20 touchdowns in 2011 and should continue to flourish in Philadelphia's high flying offense.

Jones-Drew led the league in rushing in 2011 and is still only 26 years old.

Forte was on pace for a monster season before an injury cost him the final four games of the season. Forte is now healthy and likely to be back with the Bears next season.
