The Detroit Lions have re-signed running back Kevin Smith to a one-year deal, according to sources.

Terms of the contract are unknown at this time.

Smith's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, is currently at the NFL Owners Meetings in West Palm Beach, Fla., speaking with teams about his clients. As previously reported on MLive.com, the Lions were interested in bringing back Smith.

Nice signing if the guy came cheap. My only hope is that they can coordinate their injuries so that there is someone available every Sunday.
