I think that means we start FA once the teams cut down.

In other words, hurry up and cut the trash from your roster.

At this point I'd prefer to wait til 6/13 instead of trying to shoehorn it into 6/6.

I'd rather shoehorn it than risk my sleepers getting more buzz

I understand that sentiment but waivers would be processed at 5 am tonight or some such so it is not much notice. If the announcement went out right now and someone didn't see it today, there would be complaints and problems.

Yeah, we have to allow enough time for everyone to be notified. ;-D

Yep. Although I'd fully be able to get in on waivers I agree 100%. I think at minimum you have to get that kind of email out Sunday evening while people are home, and then have 2 business days to get their list together or check emails. Trust me, in this league there isn't any sleepers garnering more buzz that nobody isn't already aware of here. Being that it's already Tuesday you have to wait until next week. 1 person that may not have checked their email in time is a dis service to that owner.

yeah yeah yeah fair enough. Although I disagree with the bolded. I'm seeing guys who went undrafted in my 27 man league get snapped up in our 22. Sure they know 'who the guys are' but in terms of actually picking them up (or how much FA budget to spend) a day or two of OTAs makes a huge difference.

LS2throwed wrote:I guess I should apologize since I have commish powers on flea and had no clue. I never even thought to check, as I had been wondering what was going on with waivers myself and haven't lended a helping hand as far as being co commish. That said, I upped rosters to the end of the 2nd round, but Lito didn't have room to add his last 2 players of the round. So that raises the question should we just extend roster max now to put rookies on then cut in the next few days, or what? I just stopped there because I know that's going to be an issue for a few teams.

Or Gregg if you can get around later tonight or whenever to finish up whatever you had in mind will be fine, I just wanted to help get the rookies added on at least.

Since the (teams?) who haven't made the necessary cuts are unresponsive and thus unlikely to make any waiver claims, the rest of the draft selections could be inputted so waivers could be opened this Tuesday. If the teams that haven't made the necessary cuts attempt to make a waiver acquisition, it'd be voided.
