Change game tie-breakers?

We had a flea debate on Flea about changing the game tie-breakers- which unfortunately isn't linkable. There was support to change it. The set-up now-

1- Higher bench points total
2- Most total starter Combined TDs
3- Highest individual starter score

New proposed setup-
1- Most total starter Combined TDs
2- Highest individual starter score
3- Higher bench points total

I voted for the new proposed setup, no way should my bench determine the outcome of a match up I have.

However, I don't think there should be tie breakers during the regular season...during the Playoffs yes, during the regular season I honestly don't think there is a need for it.

Agreed - bench points is not fair in a dynasty league as someone may be beset with injuries, or have a team with several long term prospects who aren't getting any playing time yet.

I don't think we need to be concerned with ties during the regular season as they not frequent with fractional points anyway.
