MATT? Should Commish anger cross sports boundaries?

Postby FantasySportsMaven » Fri May 04, 2012 5:36 pm

We have a dynasty football league which has been around for 4 years now and during the end of last years season, we were offered the chance to do a baseball dynasty league and some of us joined, including the football leagues commish.

The baseball league didn't get off to the best start to say the least, IMO, and the rules for the draft, supplemental draft and FA/Waiver wire pickups of players have been very cloudy to say the least... but, if you took the time to read them, understandable.

That said, the commish of our football league has been a hit and miss baseball manager of his team and as such keeps picking up rookies which our rules say he may not do. When that happens, the baseball commish does an edit and removes those players but also leaves his dropped players to exposure when they clear waivers or are claimed.

So... today, our football commish decided to quit the baseball league... which is not so bad considering his situation and the complexity of the league... BUT, then also deleted our 3 year old Dynasty Football League too!!!!

It seems he deleted his ID on FF so that might be why our FF league was deleted but we are still waiting to hear back from FF as to what happened.

This Commish is a good guy, IMO, and a good Cafe member(might even be a Cafeholic?) and I am worried that something happened to him since he is an at risk American in his non fantasy life. If Matt is out there and sees this or someone knows Matt and knows the story, please let us know since we are worried about his recent actions.
