I had been in the works of creating my own football league for some time, and I finally got the motivation to do so when a dynasty league I am in looks to be folding. It is called Gridiron Football, and it is a little bit different from your typical yahoo leagues as I merged some of the rules and concepts found in the two distinct leagues that I am currently in.
I froze all roster moves on April 24th, the day before the draft. So all free agent signings and trades up to that day are set, ie. VJax to TB, WAS with #2pick, and Peyton in DEN. I have 35man rosters and 75M salary cap and other unique features to make it interesting.
This is NOT a free league though. There will be a $25 league fee, which pays for Fantrax and $420 goes to champion and rest is divided between 2nd-4th. All money goes to a LeagueSafe account for safe keeping for all to see. If you are interested, you can check it out and sign up for a team. It is first come, first serve so up to you. This is first day I started to recruit and filled 16teams. Lots of experienced GMs, so should be lots of fun.
If you have interest in my league PM me and will give you link as I am not allowed to post links or email at the time.

The Dolphins, Jaguars and Browns have been taken now, BUT the Raiders GM suddenly bailed. So now the Raiders are only open team. Sign up if you are interested.
check out the site and join the waiting list. I dont currently have any open teams but you never know if someone backs out suddenly. Have had two teams do so recently and the people on the waiting list go the teams already.
So I am looking for 1 hard working GM to replace an owner that looks to have bailed the day of the draft. The available team is the Jacksonville Jaguars. They have the #7 overall pick, and after looking at their roster, not a bad team. A lot of potential for a good GM. Visit the site and register. Then post in cbox that you have so I can look for it. Thanks.
