I'm in the third year of a league with my buddies. 10 man league. 1 QB, 3 WR, 2 RB, 1 TE, 1 K, and 1 DEF.
But, to make things interesting, I'm nixing team defenses and doing IDP's instead. What would be the best format to avoid having TOO huge of a roster? I was thinking maybe 3 IDPs, but maybe having specific positions would be better? What do you guys think? 2 LBs, 2 DBs, and 2 DTs?
Probably a typo, but I would say DL instead of DT, otherwise you're completely eliminating DE's from the game. Otherwise, yeah, I'd say that a pretty simple start to adjusting to IDP scoring/players/etc.

My only experience with IDPs is the full monty so to speak. No team defenses and every DEF position represented. I kind of prefer that but if you're trying to have the best of both worlds, I'd say add 2 LBs, 2 DEs, 1 DT, 1 CB, and 1 S. What does that sound like to ya?
