Keep 5 IDP league

Postby Bherman13 » Mon Jun 11, 2012 1:42 pm

Standard league of 12 teams. I get to keep 5, no more than 2 at the same position. we start 1 QB, 2 WR, 2 RB, 1 TE, 1 W/T, 1 W/R, 1 W/R/T, K, 2 D, 1 DB, 1 LB, 1 DL, 1 DT, 1 DE, 1 CB, 1 S

McCoy and McFadden are obvious. Colston too. Nelson probably, though I don't see him coming anywhere close to last year. I don't think Ryan or Flacco are worth keeping. So who should my last keeper be?

QBS- Ryan, Flacco
RB- McCoy, McFadden, Blount, Carter, Woodhead
WR- Jordy Nelson, Colston, Garcon, Henderson, Mike Thomas
TE- Daniels, Dickson
DB-Weddle, Bell, Polamalu, Samuel, Richard Marshall
DL- Abraham, Cole, Patterson, Pouha
LB- Ryans, Sean Lee, Greenway

Well since it's no more than 2 at one position, that eliminates WRs and RBs. I don't know why you don't like Matt Ryan, he was a top 10 QB last year and every sign is pointed towards them implementing a more wide open no huddle pass first offense inside the Dome, with Julio going into his 2nd year and Gonzo coming back, his upside seems pretty high to me.

I suppose your only other choice is Owen Daniels or an IDP. I would never keep an IDP over a top 10 QB and Daniels has annually been overhyped, it's a no brainer imo.

McCoy, McFadden, Nelson and Colston are locks. The last keeper comes down to Matt Ryan or Sean Lee. I would go Lee so you can lock up a top 10 LB. good luck ;-D
Thanks Franchise Fan for the sig!
