I just completed a 48 team dynasty startup draft. There were 4 separate 12 team drafts, so there are 4 copies of each player available. We are now allowed to trade with the other 47 owners. I have been offered 3 trades from the same owner, all for Andre Johnson. The trades are Spiller/Crabtree, Spiller/Garcon, and Spiller/Rice. While I don't really like any of these trades, I have thought about countering with Spiller and 2 of the 3 WRs he has offered. Thoughts?????
My Team: Rodgers, Tannehill, Osweiler Murray, R. Bush, Helu, BJGE, Donald Brown, Felix A. Johnson, J. Nelson, V. Jackson, Jefferey, Posey, Streeter, David Nelson, Childs Rudolph, Fleener
I would be looking to move AJ in dynasty leagues in the near future -- if the price is right because of his age, but the man can still ball. I would see how the year plays out and if your team doesnt look like a playoff team trade AJ and build for the future. If you trade him you're giving up a WR1 for bench players atm.
I drink because of the 1998 NFC championship game.

With 4 copies of each player, are there rules set up against having the same player twice on your team? As always, there will be someone that comes from nowhere (Murray, Cruz, Graham all this past year) so could you pick up the same player twice from free agents?
That being said, I agree that Andre still has a couple good years left. While he is old, the man does have game when he stays on the field. I'd keep him for another year to see how he does.
If you were going to trade with that guy I like your idea of countering with Spiller and 2 WRs, I'd go with Garcon and Rice of those 3 guys.
I am starting to warm to the idea that Washington is a great fit for Garcon and he has more upside than I thought he did a month ago. I actually see AJ as much closer to the cliff than some of the others. He is habitually injured and the team has moved to a much more run first focused approach. I think I would try and counter AJ and BGJE for Spiller and Julio Jones. The talent gap today is minimal, but long term you are getting younger and more upside
