Ryan Matthews or Matthew Stafford

He has countered now asking for Ryan Matthews instead. Since this is a .5 PPR league (and count be a full point), I am hesitant to do this trade with all of the hype surrounding Matthews this year with Tolbert gone, but Matthews has dealt with injuries just like Stafford has. However, my two RB keepers would be Peterson and Helu, so I feel I would have to go RB right away to add some depth if I trade Matthews...thoughts?

I wouldn't give up Mathews for him at this time.

I don't like Matthews like everyone else does, so I'd much rather take Stafford to the bank.

Id rather have Mathews in your situation. I agree he might be a little overrated (had him last year), but he should have an expanded role in a good offense and is still a young player.

The only reasons the AP trade made sense-he's aging and coming off an injury.

I'm on the Matthews 'dud' train, but I think you have to risk him in your position -- and turn down the counter offer.

First off, I would keep Nicks over Helu.

Second, I'm not moving Mathews for Stafford.
