Help with trade (dynasty)

I got a team that hasn't done well the past few years in dynasty league and wants to trade talk... do you have any thoughts on pulling a deal to get JCharles?

Standard Yahoo scoring plus 0.5 PPR
Standard Yahoo roster plus RB/WR flex

My team -

QB - Cam Newton, Philip Rivers, Eli Manning
RB - Adrian Peterson, Darren McFadden, Chris Johnson, Rashard Mendenhall, Ryan Williams, Kevin Smith
WR - Andre Johnson, Greg Jennings, Jeremy Maclin, Mike Williams (TB), Laurent Robinson
TE - Jason Witten, Greg Olsen
D - New York Jets Def

His notable players:
QB - Rodgers
RB - Charles, Lynch, RBush, Ridley
WR - DJackson, Maclin, Wayne, Cobb

He really wants Jennings. He's a GB fan. Initially I was thinking to try to give... Jennings/Mendy for Charles/SSmith. Thoughts?

Not a huge fan of taking on Smith in dynasty with his age but I may like the swap of Charles for Mendy. I would look at DJax but I already have Maclin.

Any thoughts on that offer? I can start 3 RBs per week and I currently have AP and DMac with some injury concerns.

Any other possible offers you notice that would help me?

I think Mendy has absolutely no value, so I would do that trade -- you'll at least get a good year or two out of Smith.

Yeah... not sure if he will bite on Mendy at this point... but hoping his love for Jennings is high.

Any thoughts on what to do if Mendy is not wanted?

He mentioned he had interest in my main 3 RBs (AP, DMC, CJ) but don't think I could include 1 of them (with Jennings) for SSmith and JCharles.

Maybe I could go with a larger played with some of the others I listed from his squad?

Also, we'll have a 3 round mini draft (for the rookies) and he has 5th overall each round... I have #10. If that could help swing a deal?

Jamaal Charles was excellent pre-injury, but he's sharing carries. I don't think he'd warrant one of your 3 backs (although I've nevered owned DMC and won't, because he's so injury prone. It's a 'when' and not 'if' with him). At least, not with Jennings involved. If you get the deal with Mendy, I'd consider you very lucky.
