I don't think I would do it. I feel confident that Locker will win the job from Hasslebeck soon, and he did pretty good in very limited action last year. Without the trade you are better off at RB and TE, and I feel better overall. You'd have something resembling depth at both those positions by keeping the current players.

You'd start:
Romo
Ben
Charles
Rice
Forte
Nicks
Harvin
Austin
Young
Williams/who you pick up.
Cook
Davis

I don't do this trade either.

For one thing you've got 3 stud WRs and Titus Young who I think will be a stud, so you don't *need* Bowe.

You have Romo and Ben so you don't *need* Rivers, and I also love Locker's longterm outlook, even if Hasselbeck opens the starter I don't think he finishes the year the starter and Locker will be a stud in 2013.

Giving up Matt Forte messes up your excellent depth at RB, which is crucial with so many flex spots. (Yeah you get Helu but I *HATE* Shanihanigans). I think the addition of Michael Bush is slightly overblown, Mcfadden was still a stud with him there and I think Forte will be too. People thought his value was going to take a big hit with Marion Barber and it didn't, I think Bush gets a Barber-esque workload, not a 50/50 split or anything like that. Forte is still a top 10 back in my book.

Also I'm not entirely sold on Jared Cook so I like having Fred Davis around still, I think he is being undervalued because his year-end stats took a hit with the suspension but his per game stats were elite last year, and while there's more weapons there he also has a humongous upgrade at QB and will probably see more sustained drives and scoring chances with a better offense.
