I like Pettigrew. I'm probably the only one who would prefer him, but I think he's got crazy upside as well -- and I think he'll be more consistent.

I would go with Finley, he's 5th on my board after Gronk, Graham, Gates, and Vernon.

I am not as high on Finley as others, but I would still take him over Pettigrew.

Finley is always overrated, but he is better than Pettigrew.

They had similar stat lines last year - Finley with 59/804/8, Pettigrew 87/826/5 - this made Pettigrew more valuable in PPR leagues, Finley more valuable in non-PPR leagues. Their yards were almost identical, meaning Pettigrew gets far fewer yds/carry. Pettigrew seems to have hit a plateau and is a steady, if unspectacular, performer. Finley is a little more hit or miss from week to week and he said he needed to be more consistent, and is working on better chemistry with Rodgers prior to training camp - if Finley can put it all together he has a high ceiling.

Finley's highs and lows are excruciating as an owner. And the chemistry report is the same nonsense we heard last season, which made me pull him as an early TE off the board. Give me Pettigrew, or the even lower ranked Tony Gonzalez.

Finley reminds me a bit of Michael Vick during the early years of his career, a guy that thinks he can get by with his great athletic ability and therefore doesn't put in the work necessary to reach the next level. Vick finally saw the light and Finley appears to be starting to show signs of maturity and is at least saying the right things regarding stepping up his game - now he has to go out and prove it this season.
