Late rounder keepers...

Postby vinxavi » Thu Jul 26, 2012 2:57 pm

I get to keep 2... McCoy is a given, but I have to decided between Jordy Nelson (10th round) or Donald Brown (13th round). Right now I'm leaning towards Brown, as I doubt Jordy will even come close to last seasons numbers.

I'd run the other way. Jordy will regress some, but 10th round will still be great value for him.

I'd go with Jordy, too.

I can see Jordy putting up less TD's but he's still a safe bet for 1,100 and 10. You will take that for a 10th rounder anyday and twice on Sundays.

Just cuz Nelson will regress doesn't mean his numbers will cut in half. Rodgers is the QB there, and that's all you need to know to feel safe. Nelson is going around rounds 3-5 in a lot of drafts, getting him at 10 is a steal.

one Donald Brown vote here. He should be the Colts feature back this season against a teams 3rd or maybe 4th option as a receiver; Jennings, Finley, and maybe James Jones will get more looks.

I know that Indy is saying Brown is going to be there guy and really turn it around, but if he can't do it with Peyton I don't see him turning it around now. Stick with Nelson
