TE/TE Strategy? WHIR

In a full PPR rb/wr/te flex with 5 pt bonus to 100 yards is TE/TE viable? I'm about to run a mock and check it out but wanted other opinions on the matter. I draft in the 8th slot out of 12. If CJ2K or Matthews falls to me I would probably take them, but if they're gone would pairing up Graham and Gronk be a decent option? In my league scoring, Gronk had 356 and Graham had 306 last year making them the 6th and 9th top non QB scorers in my league last year.

I just posted on a roster where they tried just that. He has Gronk/Graham. His RBs are MJD/Charles/Sproles/Forte and his Wrs are Decker/RMoss/NWashington. He obviously got killed at WR but his RBs are very good. He got Romo at QB. It can work, but you're gonna get killed at one of the other slots IMO. But in a ppr, maybe you don't care.

hmm i could only hope my team turns out that good. No way I'll be able to pair up gronk/graham with mjd/jcharles/forte. SMALL chance I could land sproles in the 3rd but also doubful. how did this cat get all these players on the same team!?

In my opinion it would be very difficult to pull off in the 8 spot. A top tier RB will still be available in 1, I'd rather have a McFadden type and one of the TE's, than to have to chase two positions the whole draft.

I think it would be intresting to see how that turns out for you. You would have to take RB in the 3rd and 4th with the limited depth at the position. It's very possible to get a solid QB and WRs late so do some mocks and see how it works out for you.

I wouldn't do it. If you really love those tight ends then pick one in round 2.

I'd advise against it. Picking them at 8th and 17th is leaving too much value on the board.

However, keep in mind that both Gronk and Graham may be gone by 17.
