Before i state my problem, I am in a 12 team PPR league. The thing that separates my league from most is that it is a 2 QB league (stupid, i know). This causes everyone to want to start drafting QB's first round so usually out of the 12 teams in the first round, around 7 picks are QB's.
I know for a fact the draft will go as..
1.Brady 2.Rodgers 3. Brees 4. Cam
OR
1. Brady 2. Cam 3. Brees 4. Foster
my question is do i take either foster or cam if they are both open to me or should i look at other options, such as taking Rice/McCoy or do a bold move and go with Calvin Johnson? As desperate as everyone else will get for a QB, i dont really want to go with someone like stafford because although he may have a great year, i dont think itll be better than the previous QB's that could possibly be taken in the 1-4 picks.
1st of all Stafford will be better than Romo, Rivers, Manning, etc. So if you want an elite QB, you have to take one at 5. I think in a 2 QB league it is vital to have strength at that position. If you don't take a QB at 5, my guess is every team will have taken at least 1 by the time you draft in the 2nd. I'd be a little concerned if I enter the season with as Cutler or Palmer as my #1 in a 2 QB league. I would take Rodgers, Brady, Brees, Stafford or Newton, in that order.
I agree at 5 you have to take the last of the Top 5 qb's, or trade the pick, that is where the value is.......if you take Foster you might as well trade down and pick up extra picks.
So then I guess I will have to go with either Cam or Staff at #5 since Rodgers, Brady and Brees will obviously be chosen. If by chance I have a choice between them, who would you guys draft?
