Brees for Cruz?

OK guys and gals,

One last effort at upgrading QB. 6 team league so teams are stacked. Non PPR league, point for 10 yards rush or catch or 25 yards pass. Redraft league. See my sig for roster. Team I'm proposing trade with has Brees, Newton and P. Manning, devaluing all of them in my opinion. Thinking I'll offer Victor Cruz for Brees and if accepted, drop Eli and/or M. Ryan and grab Maclin off waivers to make up for Cruz loss.....unless he busts out (which he might), I may never even use him. BTW, we start 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1 RB/WR, 1TE, 1K, and 1 D. Am I giving up too much in Cruz considering Nicks is out? Was planning on starting Julio and Cruz pretty much every week unless AJm Dez or Demaryius tirches it. Thoughts on this one?

I highly doubt the other owner takes this offer, especially in a 6 man league that has a stud WR sitting on waivers

I agree with this. I think you would have to part with at least Julio and Ryan to get Brees.

Thanks for the input guys. He went for it cause he had so much QB talent on the bench already. So now I drop Eli and pickup Maclin and should be set....for now ayway!
