Dynasty League Trade Help?

Postby The_Good_Doctor » Thu Aug 02, 2012 3:32 pm

Standard scoring, Non PPR. We start: 1QB, 2RB, 3WR/TE, 1 Flex

My held players before the auction are:

QB: Brady, Freeman
RB: McFadden, Mathews, Helu, Ingram
WR: A Johnson, D Jackson, Austin, J Graham

So here's the trade offered to me:

I give: McFadden and Desean Jackson
I get: Welker, Cruz, and his #8 pick in rookie draft
(I also have the #5 pick in rookie draft)

Now I'll only be able to re-sign 2 of (Brady, DMC, Mathews and AJ) next year. So looking for what's best THIS season...

Also, there isn't that many great RB's available for auction (SJAX being the best).

So should I stay with my 2 top tier RB's, or boost my WR's???

You said non-PPR? I pass then, Mcfadden is going to be a beast and I don't trust Helu and Ingram or having to possibly overbid for a guy like Sjax. You can start 3 RBs and Desean should do better now that he's not playing frightened of getting hurt.

In a vaccuum I like this trade, but considering your team I think I would stand pat. McFadden's injury risk does scare me, but if he plays he is a monster, and I don't trust your other RBs to start. You are in really good shape at WR, and this trade would just add two more good WRs to the end of your bench.
