Keeper Question...4 Players-Pick 1

Postby mrhucklebuck » Thu Aug 02, 2012 7:54 pm

I have a keeper question involving 4 players....Jordy Nelson (10th round pick) or Demarco Murray, Victor Cruz, or Darren Sproles(7th round pick)

I'm already keepin a qb, Matt Stafford as my 9th round pick so won't be using any of my first 10 picks on a QB.
Between the four, im leaning towards Jordy as being more of the sure thing plus the value of getting him in round 10. Demarco Murray seems to have the most upside though but not sure how much work he ll get in Dallas with Felix there and WItten stealing redzone looks and he's a injury risk.

Is the scoring PPR? Because if so then Sproles is well worth a hard look.

PPR:
Sproles - no question here
NON:
Murray - love his upside and as long as he stays healthy will easily be a top 10 RB.
I drink because of the 1998 NFC championship game.

12 team big $$$ non PPR league - QB RB RB WR WR TE D K

QB: Rivers
RB: Murray, Matthews, R.Bush, D. Brown
WR: Julio Jones, Colston, VJax, Garcon

No PPR....Standard Yahoo settings.

Jordy Nelson (10th Round Pick)
Demarco Murray(7th)
Victor Cruz(7th)
Darren SProles (7th)

So i guess its between Demarco and Jordy Nelson?

It's really tough. A lot of people will tell you to take Murray because Nelson's stats will go down, but he still is the WR2 in a completely loaded offense in GB. He is still better than a lot of the WRs today...Also you are right, Murray is a huge injury risk which makes it so hard

It definitely is between Nelson for a 10th or Murray for a 7th...really difficult choice. When all else fails the mantra is to go with the RB, so just for that I say go with Murray.

thanks for the help everyone, definitely between jordy nelson and demarco murray. when i get my draft order, if i get a top 3 pick to get one of the top rbs, i ll keep jordy, if i get a later pick where i could draft megatron or larry fitz, ill draft demarco murray.

In non PPR I take Murray everytime. Not even close for me. WR's are abound this year and Murray is one of the RB's I feel comfortable as a #1.
