This is a slow-auction, salary draft league

League Size: 18 Teams
League Format: Head to Head
League Scoring: ESPN Standard scoring with PPR
League Roster: 20 players
Roster MakeUp: QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, TE, FLEX, DEF, K 11 BENCH

FLEX = RB, WR, TE

You must roster and play a full active team at all times, but your bench can have empty spots. If a player goes on the DL, you must place him on your bench and have an active player take his spot. At no time can you roster more than 20 players.

Salary Cap: $90 million - At no time can you exceed this cap
Contract Length: Up to 5 years, with escalators. Minimum contract length is 1 year, minimum dollar amount is $325,000

Example 5 year contract:

Tony Romo signed for 5 years at $5.9 million would see his contract escalated like this:

Tony Romo - $4,720,000 $5,310,000 $5,900,000 $6,490,000 $6,785,000

Early Termination Penalty: 25% of contract per year remaining.

Example early termination fee:

Tony Romo signed to a 4 year contract at $800,000 and dropped in the 1st year

Tony Romo - $200,000 $200,000 $200,000 $200,000

In Season Pick-Up: During the season there is a once a week FA blind bid process. All players that have been dropped or are not owned are up for blind bid.
Email the player and your bid to fablindbidnfl@gmail.com Monday thru Thursday night midnight. Winning bids will be announced on Friday with plenty of time to make roster adjustments for Sunday's games. In case of a tie the first owner to place the bid is declared the winner of said bid. You must have available roster space to bid on a player.

After the first year we will have a FA auction to be held sometime during the off-season. This will include players that had their contracts run out the previous season & other FA not on rosters.

Restricted Free Agents: At the end of each season you will be able to place a restricted tag on 1 player of your choosing.

Example: Restricted Free Agent:

Year 1 you win Tony Romo in the auction. You sign him for 3 years. At the start of year 4 he is a free agent and is thrown in the auction to be bid on. If you choose to place the restricted tag on Romo then you would have the option to match the price he went for in the auction of year 4.
