With the Ryan Mathews injury its now a real crap shoot at the #4 pick. With the lack of depth at the RB position I still think that might be the way to go but not sure.
12 team - standard scoring START -1 QB, 1RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 2 FLEX (RB,WR,TE)
My Options:
RB Chris Johnson - disappointing 2011 but still solid receptions and upside in an emerging Titan offense RB MJD - Holdout and massive workload concerning but Jags offense could be improved with Blackmon / laurent. WR Calvin Johnson - Megatron is clear cut #1 at position but depth at position and lack of talent at picks #21 and 28 for RBs is concerning QB Aaron Rodgers - can't see taking a a QB this early
Which is best option - am I missing anyone ? I'll answer yours.
It's Rodgers or Megatron for me for sure. Both are the best at their position and worthy top-half first-round picks after the Big 3 RBs. If you're a bit risk averse you can't go wrong with Rodgers, but if you want to nail down a guy who stands alone at his position right now and everyone else falls into the "rest" category, Megatron is your man. I'd prolly lean Rodgers because of how crazy deep WR is this season, but you really can't go wrong here at this point IMO
I was leaning towards Chris Johnson to make sure I lock up a #1 RB in the 1st Rd and am thinking he rebounds this year, he's only 26 and lots of tread left on the tires
If not Chris Johnson then I'd probably flip a coin between Rodgers and Megatron
If I land the 4th, I am going to take Rodgers 4th overall every time. Once the top-3 running backs are gone, Rodgers is the safest, most consistent pick, on the highest level of elite players. Rodgers at 4th might not win you your league title, but he's not going to cost you it, either.
I would go with Rodgers at 4 IF the big 3 go 1-2-3. He is a safer pick than Megatron, and still very elite. However I have seen MANY times people take Rodgers top 3, and if that happens then I would take whichever RB falls to you.
I was all for Mathews until the injury. I wouldn't go with Calvin, just because the WR position is so deep this year. I hate taking Qb's high, but I think Rodgers is the choice this year.

my exact thoughts. I have the 4th pick in a league that starts 3 RB, plus a flex. I hate taking QB's and RB's are at an even bigger premium in this format. I am currently leaning Rodgers because I don't trust CJ1K enough for that high of a pick.
