I am in a 12 man NON PPR league and the Commish has decided that following this year we can keep a guy that we drafted, if he is drafted during or after the 6th round, so 6th-15th...
I am trying to stragetize a lot of young guys that I may be able to take in the later rounds that can be really good and a easy keeper for me.
Who do you guys think that would be drafted during the 6th or later rounds could I keep???
Really depends on the strategy of the other owners you are drafting with. Will you be able to keep the player for the length of the league or will you have to throw him back at some point? If you can keep him for the length of the league I would take the best youth/talent available to me in the 6th round. Maybe someone like RG3 or Luck. I figure that Richardson and Martin will be drafted earlier. Unless everyone goes older players trying to let rookies drop into keeper range. But some owners might try to block that in the 5th round.
QB- Roethlisberger, Rivers, Foles RB- McCoy, Lynch, L James, Ivory, F Jackson, D Thomas, Turbin WR- Julio, Bowe, D Bryant, D Jax, Amendola, Broyles, Gordon, Hill TE- Celek, D Allen DEF- Giants K- Zuerlin D- D Washington, S Weatherspoon, L Kuechly
I think there are enough guys that get picked up off of waivers that end up being solid keepers, that you don't need to target keepers. I see more owners hurt their team this year reaching for a flier that MIGHT help them this year. If you draft well and are active on FA's, you'll have a keeper on your squad.
