Which one do I take if both are open to me? Also Ray Rice or LeSean or Johnson in the first round?

Ray rice in the first. Also the qb who hasn't had an injury prone past. Though I suggest doing your own research.

I prefer Ray Rice over LeSean McCoy. Also I like Newton more than Stafford based on his upside with his ability to run.

I'll take Stafford. The Lions are a pass-only offense. They do not have a choice, because the roster is littered with running backs who can't keep themselves from being suspended, injured, or both. Nor have any of them proven to be consistent.

Newton's pure athleticism and rookie season make him a great draft target, but he rushed for 14 touchdowns last season. He's not going to do that again. They gave Deangelo Williams 5 years, 42 million a year ago, and today they've given Jonathan Stewart 5 years for 36 million dollars, and they have signed Tolbert at fullback. Newton will pass for close to 4,000 yards because that's becoming routine for NFL offenses. He will run, but he's not going to do what he did last season in the running game, because he may be built like a linebacker, but they're looking long-term and they are going to minimize risk by using all of their weapons in the run-game.

Rice and McCoy are even in the running game, but Rice is used more in the passing game. McCoy scored 20 times last season, which isn't something that is likely to be repeated. Touchdowns are fluky to predict, but Rice is the better bet to top 2,000 total yards.

Stafford because the lions will throw the ball alot. You can't go wrong with either 3 rb's. I like Rice and CJ2k better than McCoy

I would go with mccoy and Stafford
