Should I accept this trade?

Postby Blaze132 » Sat Aug 11, 2012 4:32 pm

Brandon Lloyd for Roy Helu?

My roster is:
QB: Aaron Rodgers,Eli Manning, Matt Cassel
RB: Steven Jackson, Marshawn Lynch, Roy Helu, Joe McKnight, Cedric Benson, Mike Tolbert
WR: Wes Welker, Steve Johnson, Kenny Britt, Danny Amendola, Doug Baldwin, Justin Blackmon
TE: Vernon Davis
K: Matt Prater

DL: Kamerion Wimbley, Trent Cole, Mathias Kiwanuka
LB: Sean Weatherspoon, Daryl Washington, D'Qwell Jackson, James Anderson
DB: Thomas DeCoud, Jarrius Byrd, Antrel Rolle, Yeremiah Bell

I need running backs but since Roy Helu is a Redskins RB, who knows what will happen with him. Tim Hightower is supposed to be the #1 back.

Any feedback is appreciated.

I prefer Lloyd to Helu. I do not think Helu will get the starting job, and if he does it will not be his for long. It is a situation to avoid.

I do the deal. Gives you nice insurance for Britt too.

Avoid Shanihanigans like the plague man.

I think you have more relative depth at WR than RB and since NE likes to spread the ball around I don't think Lloyd is that appealing. Stick with Helu and hope for the best. I personally think he is a better option than Royster or Hightower.

As much as I would hate to have to deal with Shanahanigans (why I'm avoiding Washington players like the plague), I have to agree with Irish Drunk. You don't have enough depth at RB to make this trade, unfortunately.
