Why should I trade for Frank Gore?

Postby Blaze132 » Sun Aug 12, 2012 12:09 am

I need a RB and I feel like Frank Gore could be a solid #2. He is currently benching Frank Gore. Any trade ideas?

My roster is:
QB: Aaron Rodgers,Eli Manning, Matt Cassel
RB: Steven Jackson, Marshawn Lynch, Joe McKnight, Cedric Benson, Mike Tolbert
WR: Wes Welker, Steve Johnson, Kenny Britt, Danny Amendola, Doug Baldwin, Justin Blackmon, Brandon Lloyd
TE: Vernon Davis, Greg Olson
K: Matt Prater

His roster is:
QB: Michael Vick, Jay Cutler, Joe Flacco
RB: LeSean McCoy, Chris Johnson, Reggie Bush, Frank Gore
WR: Jeremy Maclin, Julio Jones, DeSean Jackson, Randy Moss, Robert Meachem
TE: Tony Gonzalez, Brent Celek
K: Alex Henry

Gore is not someone who I would try to target. He has a bit of an injury prone tag, since he played a full season only twice in his seven year career. Also I think he will lose carries to Hunter this season, since SF wants Gore to be heathy in the playoffs. His name value is what you would pay for. I would rather target Ben Tate who can be had much cheaper and will be a solid flex with upside. Donald Brown, and McGahee are other options as well.
Thanks Franchise Fan for the sig!

Not only will he lose touches to Hunter but Jacobs and LaMichael James will be in the mix also.
