Matt Ryan, what's the deal?

I don't understand why he isn't rated higher on people's boards...

He finished 8th last season, only a little behind Romo and a little behind Eli. All we've heard all offseason is they are going to spread it out, run a lot of no huddle, and wing it much more.

Also everyone expects Julio Jones to explode and be a top 5 WR, shouldn't Matt Ryan benefit from that?

Matt Ryan also has pretty much the easiest fantasy schedule for QBs in the league, including his playoff opponents.

He went right down the field against Baltimore's 1st team defense like it was nothing a few days ago.

But I routinely see him ranked like 11th and he's being picked a couple rounds later than some of these other low end QB1s. Is it because he got shutout in the wildcard game last year? Perplexing.

Especially when you consider Eli lost Manningham and Ballard, Peyton missed an entire year, Romo lost Laurent Robinson, Rivers lost Vincent Jackson/Mike Tolbert (and Mathews hurt again)...

I agree with you Jason. I think Matt Ryan is undervalued. Let everyone else pass on him and hopefully you can get him at a great value

I agree plus he plays in a weak division and plays in a dome. I think the specter of Michael Turner is scaring people and they've heard it before how the Falcons will air it out only to give the ball to Turner 300+ times. Please help with mine.
