Need Help With Trade

Postby Conrax » Sun Aug 12, 2012 2:54 pm

This is for 16 team, 12 Keeper (6 offense, 6 defense), H2H Points

I will do the scoring for what matters in this trade(most of it is standard; Note it is PPR):
Rushing Yards (RY) - 0.1
Every 5 rush attempts (RA5) - 2
TD Rush (RTD) - 6
40+ yard TD rush bonus (RTD40) - 2
2pt Rushing Conversion (2PR) - 2
100-199 yard rushing game (RY100) - 2
200+ yard rushing game (RY200) - 4

Receiving
Receiving Yards (REY) - 0.1
Each reception (REC) - 1
TD Reception (RETD) - 6
40+ yard TD rec bonus (RETD40) - 2
2pt Receiving Conversion (2PRE) - 2
100-199 yard receiving game (REY100) - 2
200+ yard receiving game (REY200) - 4

Alright here is the trade:
Send Ryan Williams, Ari RB from Bench to Iron Men
Receive Alshon Jeffery, Chi WR from Iron Men to Bench
Receive Kendall Hunter, SF RB from Iron Men to Bench

The reason I got Ryan Williams is because of his long term potential. The reason he wants Ryan Williams is because it can backup his Beanie Wells and he is giving me a rookie and one of the backups to my Frank Gore. Does it make sense for me to make this trade:

My Roster (leaving IDP out):

QB Peyton Manning, Den QB
RB Maurice Jones-Drew, Jac RB
RB Frank Gore, SF RB
RB/WR DeAngelo Williams, Car, RB
WR Roddy White, Atl WR
WR Michael Crabtree, SF WR
TE Antonio Gates, SD TE
FLEX Greg Little, Cle WR
OP Matt Cassel, KC QB
Bench Kevin Kolb, Ari QB
Bench Ryan Williams, Ari RB
Bench Montario Hardesty, Cle RB
Bench Scott Chandler, Buf TE
Bench Mohamed Sanu, Cin WR

i would do it in a heartbeat as no one knows if RW will truly regain his speed after the injury. Alshon's future is bright.

Thanks for reply on mine.

I would do this trade. Kendall Hunter is a strong handcuff for Gore, thus makes more sense on your team than Williams, plus you get Alshon at WR.

I agree with the others. If Gore goes down Kendall Hunter is going to be the guy to own. If Gore is gone in 2013, he's going to REALLY be the guy to own. He looked like he was running with a lot more power and explosiveness in the Vikings game, you can tell he's put in a lot of hard work this offseason, I expect his production to go up in his 2nd year. I'm a 49ers fan so I watched all the games last year, Hunter passes the eye test. Lamichael James doesn't look like a threat to me right now.

Ryan Williams is intriguing but he's just starting to get "healthy" and you don't know if he'll get that burst back. I think situation-wise they are about even, but I think Hunter is a better player. Maybe it's the homer in me, idk.

Getting Alshon Jeffrey is a cherry on top. He's going to be a big redzone target for Jay Cutler and give you some depth in your WR corp.
